Company of St. René Goupîl

An apostolate of the annual Pilgrimage for Restoration to Our Lady's Shrine of Martyrs at Auriesville, NY

Archive for the month “May, 2014”

Do I really need to re-apply to the CSRG even if I plan NOT to return this year?

Yes, please submit the application form even if you plan NOT to return to service in the Company of St. René Goupîl (CSRG) come September.

But why?

In order to:

  • notify fellow organizers of your plans — since they will need to know they must make plans without you this season; and,
  • to help them to identify your replacement.
  • Who else should use the CSRG application form?

    1. A CSRG member returning to service in 2014 should use the same form to re-apply.

    2. A pilgrim applying to the CSRG for the first time should use the same form.

Who should NOT use the CSRG application form?

Pilgrim-volunteers belonging to Divisions of organization other than the CSRG use a different form.

Contact the Pilgrimage Director for information about that.

continued prayers requested for Company co-founder, Kirk Kanzenbach

You will no doubt recall that our friend in Domino and fellow-CSRGer, Kirk, has been in need of special prayers for many moons, ever since he was injured & paralyzed when a tree limb struck him.

In your charity, please renew your prayers for this brave Father, husband and Christian. Please also remember Bonni, Kirk’s wife, and the whole Kanzenbach Family.

URGENT prayers needed for CSRGer, Patrick

After 10 months of sheer agony, suffering from an unknown illness that has led our Brother & Friend to the brink of despair, he has asked you for your prayers to Christ the Long-Suffering for speedy relief, body & soul.

In your charity, please please pray for beloved Patrick, who is practically a co-founder of the CSRG.

    Christ is risen!
